The Role of Rest in Strength Training
Rest. It’s the most neglected variable in strength training and is every bit as interesting as the other variables in your program such as frequency, sets, reps and magnitude. It’s also the least understood in my opinion. I’ll give you some guidelines and some resources for getting it right so you can get stronger and avoid injury. I also present a bit of the science behind the topic of rest and restoration.
