Equanimity
It is well known that people who suffer from persistent pain, especially neck pain, tend to really fixate on their discomfort. This makes sense since your brain is especially vigilant about your neck considering that it is so vital to your survival. But we have seen that the developing the skill of equanimity tends to quite transformative for reducing pain. For now, all you need to do is this simple meditation. I like to do this any time I’m experiencing pain. But for this week, just do it at least twice.
