As a dear client of mine once said, “Nothing will not cure your back pain, but everything will”. Back pain is the most common form of chronic pain worldwide. The cost to individuals, families, communities and economies is staggering. The fact is, the biomedical establishment doesn’t have any great options for treating, let alone healing CLBP. Surgeries are high risk and low reward, pain relievers like opioids come with too high a trade off. This course is a step by step guide to healing your pain. You will learn about your pain, and be offered tools for overcoming it. Evidence informed strategies such as breathing practices, mindfulness, somatic education and strength will be introduced throughout the course. This is a path that requires dedication, so you will be asked to practice everyday for about 20-30 minutes, though some days up to an hour.
